Your client's car — its condition, every inspection, every photo — sealed into a record no one can quietly rewrite, visible on their phone at 11pm from anywhere. You already do the work. SmartVault makes the work impossible to doubt.
Built to become the industry standard
Your premium service, amplified.
You already deliver all four outcomes. Here is what each one looks like when your clients can see it, every day their car is in your custody.
Peace of mind, on demand
Their car's condition, the latest photos, the next inspection, the climate logs, in their pocket at any hour. Not "I'll check with the team and get back to you." They open the app and see everything.
Friction-free service
Washed before the weekend, transport to Goodwood, service pre-booked, collection at the airport. One tap in the portal, logged, routed, confirmed. No phone tag, no dropped balls.
Proven asset value
You've watched it at auction: two identical cars, and the one with complete, verifiable provenance clears more. The Custody Passport is that provenance, for every day the car was in your care.
Verifiable trust
Proof no one can wave away, because it doesn't rest on anyone's word — yours included. The one outcome no in-house record can deliver: not for lack of care, but because proof needs a neutral home.
None of this asks you to change how you care for cars. It changes what your client can see — and what they can prove when they sell.
Everything your operation runs on, in one place.
Intake, inspections, tasks, invoicing, client messaging, key custody, revenue and occupancy reporting. The WhatsApp threads, the spreadsheets, the paper inspection sheets, all of it, replaced by one system your whole team works from. And when the accountant asks: one click exports your invoices and payment reconciliation, formatted for Xero — QuickBooks too.

Already built your own tools to run the operation? Keep them.
There's one job they can never do — being the record that isn't yours. That's the next section.
The proof that isn't yours to fake.
Every storage dispute comes down to one question: who has the record?
An insurer doesn't take your word for it. An auction house doesn't trust your spreadsheet. When a dispute comes, the only thing that settles it is a record no one can quietly edit. Your spreadsheet can be changed after the fact. A sealed SmartVault passport can't — and anyone can check.
A dispute is the rare day, though. The everyday work of the passport is provenance: every inspection, every service, every day of custody accumulating into the car's history file — institutional-grade provenance no one can assemble after the fact. It's the file that follows the car to the insurer, the auction house, the next owner. Care, recorded, becomes provenance. Provenance becomes value.
And when the car sells, the record sells with it. The new owner claims the car with a code, and the whole Custody Passport — carrying your operation's branding — follows it into their hands. The proof, with your name on it, outlives the owner and every sale after.
4K photography
Every angle captured sharp enough to zoom into fine detail.
Anchored as it happens
History is written once — corrections add entries, they never overwrite. Every inspection is anchored into the Bitcoin blockchain — a public record nobody controls — the day it happens, not just at the end of custody. And when a period closes, the finished passport is sealed and anchored whole.
Checkable by anyone
Every sealed passport carries a public verification page — its fingerprints and the Bitcoin block it's anchored in. No account, no taking your word for it.
One click from any vehicle
Generated from any car's timeline, branded as your operation.
Built as a moat.
Opened to become the standard.
SmartVault didn't start as software. I'm Donovan Cleuet, and I spent months designing a premium vehicle custody business of my own — the facilities, the tiers, the white-glove service, a business plan down to the bay. At the centre of it sat one question: what would make discerning clients trust my vault over every established name? The answer was never just better storage. It was proof — a record of care the client can watch every day, that no one can quietly rewrite. That was the moat the whole plan was built around.
Then the moat outgrew the plan. A provable record of custody isn't one operation's edge — it's the piece this whole industry is missing, and it only reaches its full value as a standard serious operators share. So instead of opening one more storage business, I built the record system itself: the intake flows, the 16-point photo inspections, the client portal, the sealed passports anchored into Bitcoin. The operation from that plan, Citadel, lives on inside the platform as its showcase — the GT3 RS passport pictured on this page comes straight from it, and it's the record you'll walk through in the demo. The system is real; the showcase data is a demonstration of what yours will look like.
Now I'm opening it to ten founding operators, because a standard has to be built with the industry, not sold at it. The plan taught me what to build — the ten operators who actually run floors decide what gets built next. You won't get an account manager or a ticket queue — you get the founder, and his number.
One site or twenty.
Same platform.
SmartVault was built for operators with multiple facilities from day one. Not bolted on. Not an upsell. Just how it works.

The Operations Center · from the whole network down to a single site
One account, many facilities
Run 1 site or 20. Facility switcher, per-site team access, per-site climate logs, shared task templates.
Transfer vehicles between sites
Who moved it, when, from which site to which — logged and timestamped automatically, on the car's permanent record.
Key custody register
Every key check-out and check-in logged by user, timestamped to the minute. Full chain of custody for every key.
Role-based access per facility
An operator at your Hampshire site sees only Hampshire records. Owner, admin, operator, viewer, scoped per site.
No per-site fees. No seat tiers. Every facility, every team member, every vehicle, one flat price.
They see the work.
That's why they stay.
Every client gets a personal portal, branded as your operation. Openness isn't a feature here. A client who can watch you keep their car the way you do rarely goes anywhere else.
Their own dashboard
A card for every car, showing where it's stored, its custody status, and when you last inspected it, branded with your operation, on any device.
One-tap recommendation approvals
Your service recommendations (new tyres, a detail, MOT prep) land in the portal. Client taps approve, you schedule.
Service requests
Detailing, service, collection, delivery, requested through the portal and routed to your team and vetted providers.
Invoice history and PDFs
Every invoice visible, downloadable, timestamped. No more "can you resend the March statement?" on a Friday.
Vehicle transfers
Client sells a car, the new owner claims it with a unique code, and the custody history transfers cleanly.

Your clients' data, at institutional standard.
Your clients trust you with cars worth more than most homes. The platform that holds their records is built to the same standard.
Every client sealed off from every other
One client's records can never appear beside another's. Built in at the deepest level, not a setting someone has to remember to switch on.
Append-only by design
Every change is written to an append-only ledger — enforced by the database itself, binding even our own systems, so history can never quietly rewrite itself. Corrections go in beside the original, never over it. And once anchored into Bitcoin, a sealed passport is genuinely immutable: beyond everyone's reach — ours included.
Protected like their bank
Encrypted everywhere it moves and everywhere it rests. Hosted on enterprise cloud in the EU, with every operator's data sealed off at the platform's core — isolation exercised by automated tests on every release.
Fully GDPR-compliant
Our standard Data Processing Agreement is published and applies to every operator account. Access, export, and deletion requests handled to the letter.
The first ten operators.
The passport above comes straight from the platform's showcase — sealed and checked live in every demo. Ten founding partners set the standard with us; from operator eleven, standard pricing applies.
- Shape the roadmapFounding-partner requests go to the top of the build queue. You decide what gets built next.
- A standing line to the founderA monthly call with Don, and his number for when something can't wait. No account managers, no ticket queue.
- White-glove onboardingYour fleet imported for you, your facilities, tiers, branding, and team configured. Live in 24 hours — migration is our job that day, not yours.
Standard rate from operator #11: £30 per car. Everything included: unlimited facilities, unlimited team, unlimited Custody Passports.
It pays for itself the first time it shortens one dispute, adds a point of premium at one sale, or keeps one client one month longer. Then it starts earning: detailed multipoint inspections on demand — a new revenue line that builds the Custody Passport as it's sold — and add-on services your clients request themselves, one tap in their app, any hour, zero friction.
Applying starts with the 30-minute walkthrough — no deck, no obligation. Or skip the call entirely: email donovan@smartvaultapp.io and the founder will run the demo at your facility, in person.
For established premium storage operators, UK & Europe · ten places
Asked straight, answered straight.
If yours isn't here, ask it on the call — you'll get the same kind of answer.
“Why so cheap — what's the catch?”
£15 is a founding trade, not a discount. You're early, you pressure-test the roadmap, and your operation becomes part of the proof. You're paid for that with a rate locked for the life of your account, written into your agreement. No per-site fees, no seat charges, no per-passport charges.
“You'll raise the price once I depend on it.”
The founding rate goes in the agreement: £15 per car for as long as your account is active, binding on successors and assigns. Ask the last system that burned you whether they'd have signed that sentence.
“Is there a contract or a minimum term?”
Month-to-month, no minimum. If it isn't earning its keep, leave — the sealed records your clients hold stay valid forever, with or without us.
“Migration will kill me.”
Paste your spreadsheet in — the AI import maps your columns, sites, and tiers to the platform, and you review every row before anything lands. Full fleets import in under a day, and during onboarding the migration is our job, not yours. Live in 24 hours.
“My team won't adopt new software.”
It's built for people on the floor, not people at desks: guided photo inspections on a phone, morning walkthroughs, task lists that mirror what your team already does from memory. The honest test: put your least technical staff member in the demo for ten minutes. If they can't drive it, don't buy it.
“We built our own system and it works.”
Keep it — genuinely. The one job it can never do is be the record that isn't yours. The moment the record belongs to the party being questioned, it stops settling questions. That's not a software gap; it's a structural one, and it's the only gap SmartVault insists on filling.
“WhatsApp and a spreadsheet work fine.”
They do — until the day someone disputes something, and a chat thread plus an editable spreadsheet is what you hand a loss adjuster. Day to day you're also paying a quiet tax: scrolling threads for the last photo, reconstructing which key went where. The record should build itself while you work.
“My clients don't want an app.”
There's nothing to download — the portal is a link, branded as your operation. And in practice it's backwards: clients don't resent being able to see their cars at midnight; they show their friends. That's the referral you can't buy.
“Where is my data? What about GDPR?”
Stored on enterprise cloud infrastructure in the EU (AWS, Dublin). Encrypted in transit and at rest, with each operator's data sealed off from every other — isolation that's exercised by automated tests on every release, not just asserted. Our standard Data Processing Agreement is published at smartvaultapp.io/dpa and applies to every operator account — no chasing, no request queue.
“What happens if you shut down?”
As confident as we are in what we're building — and we intend to be here for a very long time — you deserve an answer that doesn't rest on our confidence. So it's built into the product. Anchoring runs the whole way through: every inspection report is anchored into the Bitcoin blockchain as it's made, and when a custody period ends the finished passport is sealed and its fingerprint anchored too — a public record no company controls. The sealed PDF and its proof file are emailed to your client automatically and stay downloadable from the passport's public page, and anyone can confirm them against Bitcoin with SmartVault gone entirely, servers and all. Terms are month-to-month, and the records your clients hold stay checkable forever — none of it ever needs our cooperation.
“Can YOU edit my records?”
Genuinely immutable where it counts, honestly bounded where it doesn't. Every inspection report is anchored into Bitcoin as it's made, and every passport is sealed and anchored when its custody period closes — once anchored, altering it is beyond everyone, us included, and anyone can prove that against a public chain no company controls. Beneath that, every change anywhere in the system lands in an append-only ledger the database itself won't let us edit or delete, so nothing can be touched silently. The one honest caveat: day-to-day operational data lives in a database we run. The point of the append-only, anchored design is that tampering isn't just against the rules — it's detectable by anyone. That's the only version of 'no' worth having.
“Anyone can fake a PDF.”
Exactly — that's why this exists. A sealed SmartVault passport can't be faked or backdated: it prints its own fingerprint, and its public verification page shows the Bitcoin block the document is anchored in. Anyone holding it can check — no account, no call to us.
“What do YOU get out of the founding ten?”
Plainly: the standard. Ten independent operations running the same record system prove what no demo can, and every sealed passport in the market makes the next one worth more. I'm trading margin for that evidence. You should want a vendor whose incentives are this easy to read.
